HK-7098 Apparatus for Oxidation Stability of Lubricants
Overview
HK-7098 Apparatus for Oxidation Stability of Lubricants conforms to ASTM D7098 Standard Test Method for Oxidation Stability of Lubricants by Thin-Film Oxygen Uptake (TFOUT) Catalyst B. This apparatus is used to determine the oxidation stability of lubricants by thin-film oxygen uptake (TFOUT) Catalyst B. This test method evaluates the oxidation stability of petroleum products, and it was originally developed as a screening test to indicate whether a given re-refined base stock could be formulated for use as automotive engine oil.
Features
1. The metal bath is able to reduce the unpleasant odor emitted by the oil medium during the test, and eliminate the danger that may occur due to the long time test.
2. Desktop design which features small in size and the metal bath is free of liquid medium.
3. Simple ventilation, no need to place it in a fume hood, exhaust gas and peculiar smell can be simply discharged through the plastic pipe.
4. Up to 4 testers can be controlled simultaneously or separately
5. Sample temperature sensor assembly: Be able to measure the sample temperature during the test
