HK-1002C automatic closed cup flash point tester (Pensky Martins method) conforms to the ASTM D93 standard test methods for flash point by Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Tester, this tester covers the determination of the flash point of petroleum products in the temperature range from 40 to 360°C by an automated Pensky-Martens closed-cup apparatus, and the determination of the flash point of biodiesel in the temperature range of 60 to 190°C.


1.Highly automatic design, the instrument automatically competes control, sweeping ignition, flash examination, alarming, result calculation and etc. it can complete all the experiment procedures with nobody watches.

2.The apparatus configures high precision needle-type valve to control gas resource, can precisely ensure testing flame ball as standard ASTM D93 required.

3.All the gas source pipes are made of stainless steel, which made it safe and reliable.

4.The tester conforms to the A and B procedures of the standard ASTM D93 requirement to truly realize two experiential methods tested in one instrument and a quick search method allows for determination of flash point for unknown samples.

5.There is a lighting ignition plug equipped on the flame ball, which ensures the fireball burns all along during the testing process, safe and reliable.

6.The apparatus equips with highly efficient fan cooling system, user can accelerate to start the next test in short time by launching cooling system .that improves efficiency.

12. A differential Pt-100 RTD probe is designed to duplicate the response time of a mercury-in-glass thermometers as per ASTM D93 and E1
